Victoreen CDV-715 Model 1A Gamma Radiation Detector AS-IS UNTESTED. Read below. This is a very nice looking example of a CDV 715. It has some paint rubs and the start of some rust. Some fading a little denting. . See pictures. EXACT ITEM YOU GET. Ships flat rate Large box with 50.00 insurance. I will throw in 2 vintage Vintage Czech Army fallout/Chemical suits and 2 pair of size Small USGI NBC gloves. I will also throw in the working battery it is basically a D cell with no brand wrapping on it. The Czech suit is basically heavy grade plastic sheeting (see pictures). Which in theory protects from fallout but I am selling as a novelty with this CDV-715. I am also throwing in a French Gas Mask bag which works as a carry case and 2 pair of safety glasses to complete your look. COMPARE MY PRICE TO OTHERS. WITH THE EXTRAS YOU CANT BEAT MY DEAL. The CD V-715 and CD V-717 are very high-range gamma radiation detecting instruments.THESE ARE NOT GEIGER COUNTERS! I have no way to test if this detects radiation but when I put the battery in, the dial will go back to zero (or wherever you zero it to) and then when I do a circuit test the dial goes to the circuit check area on the readout. I took pictures so you could see the dial positions while working. Most of these I get the dial never moves. No returns, ask questions, i am happy to try and answer. An ebayer does offer a reconditioning service but most people buy these for novelty items. If it works and it sends alarm you are likely in a heap of trouble :-).
